Festivals: Celebrating With Joy and Pride.
It is one thing to learn about something, however, it is another thing to experience it. Lamdeni is an environment where students not just learn about the festivals but experience and celebrate them exuberantly.

Lamdeni provides children with the full spectrum of Jewish life. Highlights of our festivals’ program include:
Purim a spectacular family carnival, including amusement rides, costumes, barbeque, performances and hi-tech Megillah reading;
Pesach a matza baking factory, creating a personalized Haggadah and an interactive model seder;
Yom Ha’atzmaut Israeli dancing, singing and traditional Israeli foods;
Lag BaOmer a massive bonfire and fire show with traditional Israeli singing, dancing and food;
Shavuot an ice cream party and the 10 commandments ‘live’;
Rosh Hashanah a shofar making workshop, round challah baking and Make-A-Wish project;
Sukkot a celebration in the hut of activities, commemorating the Israelites’ 40 years in the desert;
Simchat Torah a family celebration of joy and fun including a childrens entertainment program; and
Chanukah a Chanukah extravaganza including menorah making, sevivon, latkes, ponchkes and Chanukah gifts.
Other important Jewish dates such as Tisha B’Av and Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) are commemorated.
Families are always welcomed and encouraged to join their children in celebrating these festivals.
“Lamdeni has taught my children what it means to be proud of their heritage and proud who they are.”
